The Catastrophic Impact of Covid Forced Societal Lockdowns; I wrote this op-ed 1 year ago & published in AIER; FAUCI & BIRX caused thousands of deaths in the US; we mourn the dead; their lockdowns
1 year ago; I wanted to continue fighting to open up society for I knew from HHS and my work with WH and persons there how people, children were killing themselves in the US....and world....
Thank you for such a thorough discussion of this urgent topic, and for indicating the devastation in African American communities. Many revelations in RFK Jr's new book dropped my jaw, but the one that shocked me the most was that 41% of black-owned businesses in the US went bankrupt during lockdowns. These businesses had many cases taken generations of families to build. The devastation of this is unconscionable, and intolerable to ever risk again.
Incidentally, I believe I wrote the first controlled study showing lockdowns to be ineffective at reducing deaths. In June 2020, I compared locked US states with neighboring free states of similar population density. The free states consistently had significantly lower all-cause deaths.
Our son died of suicide in May of 2020 in part due to everything being shut down so he couldn't get the help & support he needed. The hospitals also wouldn't help him though they could clearly see he was dying. I wish we could get justice for Jordan.
