I wish I could share this with my late age 30s daughters with MY dear grandchildren
I have already been shut down and now "no longer part of the family" for the past 20 months, by my youngest daughter and her husband. It is heart crushing and abusive.
I have not seen my grand children and they treat me like I am a sick person.
Same for me. Know that you are not alone. Crushing to the heart. The one who is two will never know me. I’m 70 and have sacrificed for my 4 children. No one asked me to . I did it out of love. Apparently it’s the “ me generation “ . What a waste. But we are not leaving them a safe world. Maybe that’s how it goes 💕
I have to keep reminding myself, and hubbs is well aware already that we are not alone.
At least I have some kind of connection (though very carefully conditioned by her) with my oldest daughter. She has two girls 5 and 8 years old. They are my only grand children now.
My youngest daughter is not this stupid really, it is her husband. He is a huge jerk, Jerome the jerk. I do not know what to say to those three little darlings if I ever saw them again. My son in law is so horrible person.
Maybe tell your youngest daughter and son in law that you forgive them for what they have done. They will probably not like to hear that, because they will know that you would not be wanting to forgive them unless you perceived them to be wrongdoers, but so be it. If it leads into a discussion, maybe start like Dale Carnegie by saying "Look I may be wrong. I often am. Let's examine the facts ..."
Oh well. Here's another option. Don't contact them. Have as little to do with your son in law as possible. When your daughter contacts you, reward her. Be gracious and charming. Zero hostility always. Reward every approach behavior. Don't argue with her or disagree about anything. Allow her to rant. Change the subject if you need yo. Damn the son in law with faint praise. Terminate the interaction after only a few minutes, with an excuse for why you have to go. Always be the first to break contact. Always have an excuse. Don't arrange future contacts. Disprove their hypothesis that you're a bitch. If that doesn't work you may just have to wait until your daughter divorces him, which she will.
I lost my job in the 1991 recession with 4 children. The youngest one was6 months old. My MIL offered to pay off our mortgage and we could get a regular mortgage again after the economy turned around. It was only a couple of months later after coming back from emergency with the baby that I saw a Power of Sale on our front lawn in the snow. My oldest two new what that meant being in grade 9 and grade 6. The neighbours talked and the children’s friends parents as well. It was so humiliating. My MIL lived on our street. I did not deny their relationships with their grandmother. Now these older children can not take the high road even though I have asked to see them . They are 2, 6 7 and 9.
My son has told the 6 year old that I am dead buried with “Poppa” last year in the ground. My husband did pass on.
I wouldn’t wish for them to go through this with their own grandchildren later in life. As I said they could have learned by example that I gave them in life. But no.
The Devil, as some call it, is an off world consciousness that feeds off of fear, deception, cruelty, greed etc. It is an energy that is attracted to those who can help feed it and it encourages those who can feed it to invert reality and whatever else it takes to gin up the fear and suffering. It converts worlds to negativity or destroys them and moves on to the next candidate. This is the Puppet Master.
Not sure why the focus on past corruption, especially seeing what enormous unified efforts will be needed to take out Satan and his followers who are GAINING ground engulfing Americans TODAY?
Am wondering where ALL the solutions are to this continuing global mess? Did Americans learn anything about their past history that ALWAYS repeats?
AND where are the patriotic Americans, especially the Christian ones who should clearly understand what to do about ALL the evil we see GAINING in every direction?
Doesn’t anyone other than our enemies understand the ART OF WAR…UNITE under experienced strategic planners with a growing pot of money?
