He actually published a book by that name as he sought celebrity status following his monumental "discovery" of HIV. Gallo was a big shot at the National Cancer Institute in 1984, by all accounts a profoundly mediocre scientist as well as being a rude crude New Jersey thug. The race was on to discover what could possibly be causing a small subset of extremely promiscuous recklessly hedonistic out of control drug abusing homosexual males who in many cases had hundreds of different sexual partners with whom they shared continuous STD infections for which they took antibiotics daily for years at a time, to get sick. What could it be? A "novel retrovirus" of course. Was there ever a doubt? Actually yes but only from Nobel-winning "deniers" like Kary Mullis. Everybody knew he was a dope, a dumbass, a surfer. Wolfe is still on the trail of that elusive HIV. It's got to be out there somewhere. Maybe Cameroon. While there he discovered that 1 percent of a cohort of hunters carry Simian Foaming Virus. Or is it Foaming Simians? Either way it's very significant. Maybe the next Big One. Although a foamy simian brings to mind a tubby toy. I see he's a WEFer. Like our "friend" ELON!! Imagine that.
