The Vigilant Fox, excellent piece on SSRI antidepressants & possible link with mass shootings! the evidence has accumulated to show a link; did the FDA cause many of the MASS shootings covering up?
violent behavior (& the frequent suicides that followed it) were observed throughout the SSRI clinical trials, but were covered up by the SSRI manufacturers & then the drug regulators (e.g., the FDA)

As a "mental health" clinician I kept a database of averse effects from psych meds based on reports of the subjective experiences of clients. In my opinion SSRI AD's are among the most dangerous of commonly prescribed drugs. Moreover they are essentially useless in treating moderate depression which ordinarily translates as "situational unhappiness". Almost all such cases resolve within a few months. They have some limited efficacy in treating major clinical depression - which is actually fairly rare - but only if used very judiciously and short term. Of course they are never prescribed that way; there is no profit in judicious and short term. The suicidality/homicidality is well-documented. Eli Lilly noted it when developing Prozac as early as the late 70's but kept it hidden. SSRI's also induce a kind of bizarre impulsivity which is often under the radar. A danger sign is when clients present as "better than well". As in "How are you feeling?" "Never felt better! I think I'll go and jump off that tall building!" That sort of thing. The FDA finally put a black box warning - meaning a drug may cause death when taken as ordered - on Prozac. The first full year of the BBW was 2004 and in that year overall suicides declined by 3-4 percent. Draw your own conclusions
Tucker Carlson also did a couple of segments on this taboo topic before he was fired.
