They’ve sought to destroy this country for a hundred years or more. The worst part is, they’re also destroying the entire earth, while claiming they want to save it.

Worth remembering that policies from the Reagan and Bush Sr. presidencies decades ago also contributed in a big way. Certainly not defending the current Democratic party, to be clear; but we need to be clear-eyed. Both parties have contributed to our current situation—no one is off the hook.

And what about the bankers? The Federal Reserve? Wall Street? Where they’ve built a trough for themselves where to feed with no risk of ever losing a dime? Just by taking what they feel like? Google up Catherine Austin Fitts.

I refer to them as Banksters ;) And you’re not wrong…

Too early in the morning to argue, but that is simply not true. I lived through those years and the Carter disaster before that. The current Biden disaster is just like the Carter disaster, only worse. Common denominator? Leftist and DEMOCRAT policies. And we still have 2.5 years to go.......yeah.....

Hmm…setting Carter on par with the current administration speaks volumes. As does giving the R’s a free pass. We won’t bring up W and Cheney/Rumsfeld (no one needs to relive that mess). And really, there’s nothing to argue about—the legacy of both parties is known.

Yes it is. The old saying is true: the Republicans are the stupid party, but the Democrats are the EVIL party.

I’d say they’ve both demonstrated they can be evil and mendacious. No monopoly on those attributes. The record of both sides is corrupt, the history complex and nuanced. Framing things in binary opposites is their bread and butter (good/evil, R/D, etc) and gets people to choose a side. It’s part of the manipulative strategy and theater of it all. A better saying to reference might be ‘There’s only ONE party.’

Dies it really matter R or D? In the grand scheme?

Do you enjoy inflation? Teaching elementary school children ALL about the various perversions available to them? Censorship by private companies encouraged by our government (controlled by dems)....I could go on and on and on....covid restrictions, mandates, and all the rest. Yes, I would say that it matters if it’s an R or a D....a lot. I know the republicans have their faults, but at least most of them aren’t socialist control freaks. In an earlier post I mentioned the disaster of the Carter years and the current Biden cluster****. Both are bad periods brought on by bad Democrat (leftist) policies. Yes, I really do think it matters......

Maybe it’s not the Rs, it’s the ppl being represented by them... and sabotaged, more often than not. Yes it matters, but too little too late.

Have you noticed that Dick Cheney is present through much of the epoch of Mid-East wars, terror attacks, etc? I will have to research his connections and background.

Agreed--while I can't claim to know a lot of details about politics--mainly because I've always known it was a complete cluster so I didn't look closely--I definitely do know that so-called conservatives have had their hands all in this mess for a very long time. There is plenty of blame to go around--just look at the plandemic and see how many DC Republicans have tried to stop this madness--we can probably count them on one hand.

Dear God have mercy on us. These Marxist are the real pandemic. I keep thinking how history repeats itself and flashes of the Opium War keep coming to my mind. Can you spell Fentanyl? Because that’s the new real war. All these psychopaths care about is their own power and greed.

That is pretty sorry, what they have done to that city and the people. Just terrible, for money, greed and power.

That city has been like most large cities in the USA have been like that for fifty years. You just learned to stay out of the bad neighbourhoods.

Perhaps a change in leadership in these cities is needed, as not all cities are in that condition.

The Repubs are not the "lesser evil;" they are an auxiliary subdivision of the same evil. To understand the political system, one must step back and regard its operation as an integrated whole. The system can't be properly understood if one's study of it begins with an uncritical acceptance of the 2-party system, and the conventional characterizations of the two parties. (Indeed, the fact that society encourages one to view it in this latter way, is perhaps a warning that this perspective should not be trusted.)

Looking at it historically, the “solution” has to be a break from the officially-approved mechanisms. It must have the form of a broad movement based on the interests of the bottom 80-90% of the population, rather than on the interests of the top 1%. It has to be what they call “radical” politics — something that big business and the media are definitely not going to like.

The 2 parties are really just a mechanism of social control. They’re not a way for “the people” to express their will; they’re a way for rulers to control the people — partly by making them believe that they (the peeps) have some say (which they don’t).

Watch 2,000 mules. Some places can come back (and are) from GA to AZ to WI. Unfortunately Philly is like CA - these people will never be able to vote themselves out if this mess, and the “government” only exist to redistribute money to their cronies. Complete corruption and total indifference to human suffering.

The west side of Chicago and parts of the south side, parts of downtown, anyone remember Cabrini green in the 70’s? This isn’t new, it is just a continuation of the complete and utter mismanagement of local, state and federal government tax dollars. Did anyone else read that Joe wants to send 33 billion dollars more to the Ukraine? That would buy a hell of a lot of social housing and support for all those people living on the streets in the USA! I do like Louis Farrakhan, why don’t they put him in charge of dealing with homelessness, starvation and drug and alchohol use. How about the wonderful Sikhs who go out with cooked food trucks to feed anyone who asks for food. Yes I agree, what has happened to our country. And yes, the current administration seems oblivious to our needs (so did previous ones). Making those who are employed, unemployed through lockdowns and closure of small businesses won’t fix things. It will make things even worse. Do they know this? They should.

I think we need to be careful here and not allowing partisan politics to divide us... Yes inner city decay is reaching epic proportions just look at Los Angeles San Francisco Philadelphia Chicago. This decay has proceeded through various administrations both right and left. Personally I think the left is made it more of a mess though.. Neither one has really catalyzed much change. So what to do? Someone I think that really has a clear understanding of what is best at this time is CA. candidate for Governor Michael Shellenberger.. [see Joe Rogan interview]

check him out.. a real depth of understanding on Inner city decay - studied it both here and abroad.. for about 15 yrs
