Yeah there are forces in our society that just want art to die, Tim. And they want you to die. These Malthusian transhumanist psychopaths are becoming more naked and aggressive about their vaguely apprehended inchoate yet nonetheless real and dangerous plans for a depopulated dystopic moonscape of a world. Am I laying it on too thick? Ok: The world is full of great criminals with enormous power, and they are in a death struggle with each other. It is a huge gang battle, using well-meaning lawyers and policemen and clergymen and doctors as their front, controlling papers, means of communication, and enrolling everybody in their armies. Are you getting it yet? Or do you need a couple thousand more 4 year olds to “die suddenly” of a heart attack?

Yes !

That's what they need, but then again, that may not even do it.

Denial is a very powerful emotion.

The irony is that all while pushing for "diversity" what is actually being pushed is conformity.

What a great article. Matt and Tim are both intelligent humans who haven't lost their humanity.

Almost did. It was nip and tuck there, for Tim, but he had a long think.

His mea culpa resonates as very genuine. Checked his ego at the theatre door.

Many things were left unsaid in that article, for obvious reasons, however one can read between lines.

He’s thinking. Let’s give the man some credit. I agree, Alexander ❤️

Even if he’s not “all in” and doesn’t see everything we do. He may wake up some people who do go “all in” and who subsequently understand the threats we are facing.

I am very glad to hear this from Tim Robbins, someone whose work I have always enjoyed and admired. I hope more people like him wake up and realize we are all victims of the same psychopaths of the Deep State.

@TimRobbins That sounds like an Amnesty petition. Sorry bud. #NoAmnesty. At least we’re not wishing death on you.

No, it doesn't. He said he walked with anti-vax-mandate protestors in London. He posted about it on social media. He went flat-out against his Hollywood brethren when it was totally not cool to do so. He actually stuck his neck out for what was right before anyone else did. Just because people don't see the truth on Day One doesn't mean they don't catch on. I agree there should be #NoAmnesty, but it doesn't sound like he was one of those people. If we don't give people credit for coming halfway across the line, no one will ever cross it.

Guess some of us will never cross that line. Sorry. Angry old woman here who sees no justice happening for all the lives that have been decimated for the past 2+ years.

Great piece. Loved him in Shaw Shank redemption

It really was not that different than the Atlantic piece. He’s sticking to their narrative.

It was good to hear this interview. I've not been a big fan of actors who mixed politics with their craft, but on the other hand I would never not watch Shawshank Redemption, Bull Burhan and other Tim Robbins movies It's good to see he is intellectually consistent.

His absolute hard line on freedom might make him a libertarian. At this point, regardless of party, you will have my ear if what you are talking about is the dismantling of government regulation, restriction, etc. Also GREAT to hear someone realizing that vaccination doesn't make any sense because it doesn't do what it said it would. But here's the thing, what if he goes back to find out many of the restrictions never really made any sense because Covid was never that horrible to everyone to begin with. You don't shutdown society for a few people. The answer is not restriction, but innovation.

By the way...to the Emily Oster's of the world, this sounds more like an apology than the drivel she wrote.

Whatever. Distrust, but verify.
