Proverbs 27:17

Iron sharpens iron,

and one man sharpens another.

The religious leader Louis Farrakhan has been preaching from the rooftops about fathers in the home, healthy eating, living a “good” life. He has made it clear who the “bad” guys are. He has plenty of security because I am certain that he is a target. He is a target because he wants better lives for his people. What is wrong with that?

You do realize that the guy is a racist and an antisemite. Such guys like Hitler preached the same thing.

Joseph Mengele? Experiments on humans. I think that’s all I need to say. Your perspective, while accurate in some small respects glosses over the evil of the Nazi regime. Never forget.

Daughters also need fathers. I remember the closeness with my father who totally believed in "girls can do anything" and "girls are smart."

What good is a father if his priorities are watching sports or working 60 hours a week. Or has his head in a bottle? He needs to be a father who can put his family first, ahead of himself, unselfishly prioritizing His family.

I think history shows a father that brings home a paycheck and sits in front of the TV or otherwise ignores the family 95% of the time is STILL better than a "baby daddy". It's only if the father is abusive that he is worse than one that never married the mom.

The lack of oversight of sons and daughters in broken homes by fathers throughout this land is nothing new; it has been going on for decades. The responsibility for this sad state of affairs should not be placed entirely - nor in many cases even mainly - at the foot of the fathers themselves, however. We should not overlook the role of the courts in ruling repeatedly in such a manner that makes proper oversight difficult or impossible.

This started in the 60s, with the so called great society. Racist president johnson basically removed Black men from family responsibilities. In spite of all the problems in that era, I remember Black men walking with dignity. No mas.

I really don’t care if he hates me. His message to his own followers is brilliant. There are many racists in the world and antisemites, but you already know that.

The first thing God created was the family. That should tell us why the forces of evil are trying to destroy it. The family is the most powerful entity in society today and at the core is the father. Dad's need to step in and step up. Some are already doing this but they must reach out to men who are floundering on the fringe.

My parents were democrats. My dad didn’t mince words and if you didn’t listen to his words, you had to feel. He did this with his family and with our schools. He once threw a principle on his desk. He force fed my sister and my parents didn’t believe in ‘cleaning your plate.’

His dad (my grandfather) knocked out his teacher. My dad was left handed and had broken his arm, that arm had been in traction (40’s era.) She cut his cast off because he wouldn’t write with his right hand.

My sister and I talk about things happening today in schools. My dad would’ve left bodies in his wake. Where are all the dads protecting their children from these psychopaths?
