I've been paying close attention here but recall that Putin assembled an invading force on the borders of Ukraine, then attacked after stating publicly he was only conducting exercises. Did he first make an effort to negotiate his grievances?

Taylor, Ukraine has been bombing and killing off the ethnic Russians in the east since 2014, with the assistance of NATO. Russia and Ukraine and NATO signed onto the MINSK agreement which assured Russia NATO would NOT expand, Ukraine could remain Independant if the respected the orthodox Russians living in the east. That didn’t happen. VZ has been killing off Russians by the thousands since then.
After the break-up of the Soviet Union Ukraine was left with the world’s third largest stockpile of nuclear weapons. I believe it was Bill Clinton who negotiated a deal to rid Ukraine of the nuclear weapons with assurances, one of which was to have Ukraine remain as a neutral buffer nation between Russia and Europe. We, the United States, should mind our own business taking George Washington’s wise departing advice to treat all other nations with benevolence and to avoid at all costs foreign entanglements. There was also another attempt to negotiate shortly after the Russian forces invaded, but the US threw cold water on it. Now Biden is talking about supporting Ukraine for "as long as it takes" -- as if Ukraine has a chance to win against Russian forces.
It's very tragic that the citizens of Ukraine should be used as pawns and cannon-fodder for the United States' proxy war to try to weaken Russia, but Putin is only reacting as we did when Russia stationed some nuclear-capable missiles in Cuba (in reaction to the earlier CIA-backed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba).

The documentary Ukraine on Fire has a female reporter I tracked down and she seems to be reporting the facts. She went out and debunked the mass grave story they were shooting awhile back. Can you imagine being bombed by your own government so openly? I mean ours is attacking us with a bioweapon but they have tricked so many into thinking they are helping us instead of trying their dammdest to kill us off it’s quite different than bombing our hospitals and schools outright. As I typed that I realized they have been attacking those two sections of America 🇺🇸 the hospitals most the damage is done now we just wait. First, NATO and the USA government know that Ukraine does NOT have the ability to fight Russia and uses that as pretext to launder billions of American taxpayers dollars in Ukraine to prepare for the destruction of the USA by manipulating elections and causing internal chaos. In my opinion, Russia/Putin are the good guys. The USA and NATO are the bad guys as they desire a world war with death and destruction. Is this the plan to reduce the worlds population by war perhaps a tactical nuclear war? Will the Biden allow our enemies attack the USA in order to destroy or cripple us so they can install a new government as they despise our Constitutional Republic?
It looked like Russia was going to push a major winter offensive and end it once and for all. Now I am not so sure...looks like it might settle into a long stalemate. If that is the case it is because both sides want to bleed NATO and US dry. Can you imagine how vulnerable the west will be with no energy reserves and the military depleted. Add economic collapse as the cherry on top.
