Do all your shots reliably hit the center of the bullseye from that distance?
Most soldiers could.I'm well trained to shoot at 500 meters and hit my target (thanks Uncle Sam)
In an unsure situation like this one I would have aimed the first round, and sprayed the target until my magazine was empty.
This shooter did not.
