If you convinced the spendthrift government to buy your mRNA injections without question, why would you make them to last longer than a few months? By having the government order billions of dollars worth of injections 3 or 4 times a year, you now have created a gold mine and all with a virtually useless product.

The assumption that people who take care of their health rushed in to get these mRNA injections is a dubious one.
