You cannot make any of the claims you make against a background of the systemic corruption of data, which is what the US suffers from as a result of paying medical people to diagnose and record anybody with any sort of illness as a covid case.

I'm just going off of numbers that are on the NY Times' COVID tracker. It's not paywalled, so it's there for anyone to see.

True, the US's data is not credible. But why would they WANT to have 1000 deaths a day reported? The CDC even told hospitals they didn't have to report COVID deaths as of about January 15. Which means it could be worse.

NOBODY is making a big deal of the large number of deaths reported. After more than a year of the vaccine, the CDC and the Biden administration would like to be bragging about beating the virus. Pfizer and Moderna want to sell a fourth shot, but the CDC is mumbling that it doesn't have the money, because they know it won't do any good, and will do a good deal of harm.

If these deaths were a result of hospitals calling regular hospitalized people "COVID" cases, you would think that would show up in the hospitalized stats, but those are low, as the NY Times data tracker shows. Nothing makes sense.

just now

if you are "going off NYT numbers" then you are playing into John Rockefeller's hands, who made a speech in which he thanked them and various other outlets for keeping his plans from the public for decades; so they are not a credible source of anything other than toilet paper.

Why would they want to have 1000 deaths per day reported?

Maybe because fear generates vaccine sales, and increases compliance with any "government mandates" they decide they need, to further enslave, gaslight, and impoverish the population?

Because that's what this whole thing is about; anybody still imagining it's about a so called pandemic is living in a deluded fantasy.

And of course nobody is making a big deal about the deaths / injuries, because the media is entirely owned by the corporations that have caused those deaths and injuries.
