Ukraine is one of the most corrupt places on earth and the US politicians that are allowing this are either too damn stupid to understand the dynamics, or they are part of the corruption. I do not support Ukraine's war against Russia. Before the war, the peace terms from Russia seemed pretty simple and acceptable... Do not join NATO and stop shelling the eastern provinces where the Russian speaking Ukrainians live. Ukraine should not have shelled the eastern provinces for 8 years and then acted innocent when the Russians invaded. Zelensky and the US should not be pushing for NATO membership for Ukraine or NATO involvement in the conflict. And I don't really care if NATO exists. I certainly don't want our tax dollars to pay for NATO. Let the Europeans pay for it. Let the Europeans negotiate their gas deals with Russia without our interference or meddling. Let us use our money here in the US.
