But there's another way to avoid tainted blood in the event, for example, of trauma and blood loss. I once worked in a blood bank. There is something called "directed donation", in which a friend or relative with a compatible blood type can donate a unit specifically for an individual.
You know Teri, I have seen this mentioned previously, in a thread somewhere - same topic of course - and I wondered then, as I wonder now - WHO is going to keep track of that for us? Can that institution, or person, be relied upon to "keep it straight" for me, or for you?
Would YOU trust that? I don't think I could, at this point, after SO MANY lies, so much gas lighting..... so much BS.
If you know you may need blood, say for a surgery, donate your blood ahead of time, and make sure they keep it straight.
