I know it sounds good. ‘All we have to do is ignore them and wait them out’ isn’t going to work. Setting up a parallel society sounds great, but these people are all about control... they want to control it all, including you and your parallel society.
They are setting up the rules and procedures for a coming dictatorship now. They must be fought (politically) now, before they can get it established. We had better march, protest, and show as much opposition as possible. We need to oppose them at every opportunity, and it needs to be done now..... while we still can.

Presidents and Vice Presidents don't pack up and ship their stuff when leaving office. Others do this for them. High-level officials commonly mishandle classified info. Without staffers making sure regulations and laws are complied, almost all of them could be thrown in prison.

The House of Representatives does not have law enforcement powers of its own, except for contempt of Congress. That can be used when someone refuses to testify after being subpoenaed.
