They're not going to voluntarily release the evidence that will put the noose around their own necks. "Come out with your hands up," isn't going to do it. We'll have to toss in smoke grenades and tear gas to force them out. Expect a battle.

The commitment to the narrative (by governments, PHE, doctors and a good portion of the public) has been sustained for so long now, and with such blind tenacity, that the cost of reversal is obscenely monumental. Few would volunteer for that (and in all likelihood they've already changed their minds by now).
Just look at the media's current push for the bivalent booster for adults AND children, talks of more variants, another dark winter etc. It has become pathological at this point.
