In my town during 2020, some convenience stores (associated with gas pumps) refused to take cash for any purchases. They strongly implied that covid was transmitted on the surface of money. I was stunned.
I have no doubt whatsoever that this new Fed policy is the first step toward the government control of private assets for the purpose of coercing behavior.

Just stop feeding the beast. Stop paying tax and household bills. Learn who you are and how to shove it up them and in the unlikely scenario where enough people wake up, collapse the system. I appreciate there’s a lot of steps missing but was trying to be succinct. If they create money from thin air right now imagine the digital social credit score verison of that.
I must say I'm a bit puzzled about CBDC. I understand and 100% agree that we mustn't ever let it replace good ol' cash in our personal transactions. But aren't ALL "interbank" transfers already done electronically? They don't delivery all of it in cash...it's just debits & credits in a ledger.
This has long been the holy grail of totalitarianism and will complete the transition of the US to the world's most communist nation.
In reality the Chinese are not even really communist.
They converted to a capitalist economic system decades ago which is the reason for their remarkable economic growth.
They will continue to surge ahead of the US economically and technologically and will expand their MIC might while the US takes the lead in surveillance and control of irs citizens.
This measure is designed to enhance the secret police state functions of the FBI and other 3 letter agencies.
