potent role as mom! may you get all blessings and God grants you favor. My dad died about 1 year ago now...today is not a good day for me in memory; I have not grieved him yet, special man!
Sorry to learn of your father's passing Doc. There is no doubt that he was special. He would be proud of you, for standing up and being counted among the worthy defenders of the truth. Thank you. It is time to get that grieving out of the way Doc. My nine year old son died in '85, and I did not know anything about grieving, had to learn the hard way. Since then I've lost both parents, one brother, five sisters, and in one short period, eight of my friends, some of them fellow Professional Fire Fighters, from cancer. Grieving hurts while you are doing it, kind of like pulling porcupine quills. But it is necessary. I found respite in the fact that Jesus saves, and that this life is temporary, so we need to make it count, as you most definitely are. Thanks again Doc.
Dear Paul....I remember well the hard time you had a year ago when your Father passed away during the flooding and how that surely added to the trauma.
All I can think to say is that he must have been very proud to have raised a son of immense compassion and truly good sense. Yes, this would be a hard day for you, a man of such sensitivity that shines through in your writings.
I wish you well today on this Fathers Day, acknowledging your natural feelings of loss of a beloved parent. There is no doubt in my mind that he must have been a special man.
The father is a stabilizing force in the family, you can try to be a great mom but without the backing of a good man that sees how important being a stable father is..in the life of his wife and his children it is near impossible to be adequate. It will be very hard in this world,at this time to be strong in your identity which is what it would take to be successful and find peace and joy.
Rest in peace all our fathers who have left us.

I miss my father too. Sometimes I want to ask him a question and I say oh I’ll ask dad that but then I realize he’s gone bless his soul!
Same to all the Dads and you Doctor A. Your Father is proud of you, I am sure.
