i believe it takes about 2 weeks for any D3 supplement to become useful to the body?

and wouldnt it be good to talk about the K2 relationship, especially at higher doses?

Good article on the importance of Vitamin D. I would also add that for better absorption it should be taken with Vitamin K2 and magnesium. They all work synergistically. The other day I searched on our Health Canada Website to find out how and where I could get my Vitamin D level checked. Their advice was it wasn't necessary to get level checked. End of story. No useful information at all.

the governments have proved themselves to not care about health. you can get tests done online, i think you can even do it on amazon

Thanks for that information. Will check it out. You are right that governments don't care about our health . I remember years ago when Health Canada wanted to approve Bovine Growth Hormones for milking cows to up their productivity. The only reason it wasn't approved was because the Veterinarian Association objected due to the fact the cows would need more antibiotics if given these hormones. So no concern for its effects on the human population.

they already feed antibiotics to cows in most of the US not sure about Canada. i havnt drunk milk in years because of it and i only eat grass fed beef

You are right but using BGH increases the amount of antibiotics. We used to spend a lot of time in our trailer before covid and I only bought organic milk which doesn't use this hormone. I eat organic chicken but unfortunately grass fed beef is above my means.

Meant to say in our trailer in the United States. I miss going there but for obvious reasons can't cross the border.

Thank you! Doctors in general need to understand this. Many either don’t know about this, or don’t share it. My elderly father-in-law was told by an MD that Vitamin D studies are “inconclusive”, so now he refuses to take the supplements we bought him. He trusts his doctor, the “professional”. 🙄

Those studies undoubtedly used very low doses and did not dose off of blood test results. Everyone is different. I need 15,000 IU every day just to stay above 55 on my blood tests.
