So whether Trump or Harris gets into office, there is a serious threat that the military will be turned against the American people. This would be in violation of both the Posse Comitatus Act and the US Constitution (particularly the Bill of Rights).
As a reminder, our military swore an oath to uphold and defend the US Constitution. Thus for our military to be involved in arresting and/ or executing Americans in violation of the Constitution, unless specifically authorized to do so under circumstances approved by Congress (not some Executive Order, DOD directive or other unlawful order), would be a violation of their oath to office.
