Should we consider this "Disease X"? This virus having been administered intranasally will no doubt be sprayed in some manner on all - this means our children will be affected this time. Let's remember the mice are infected with high purity clones made from cDNA but whatever is passed along will have the low fidelity, high replication incompetent traits of RNA viruses.
