Parents aren’t paying enough attention to where they go, who they go with and rarely check their phones to see who they are interacting with. The days of dropping your kids off at the mall with friends should be over. This is one of the primary places these predators go. Cleveland is prime with the interstate systems surrounding us to allow quick exits by the predators. It will be interesting to see how many are really runaways.

Another theory to consider is that those kids may have been with bad caregivers and were actually rescued from traffickers. Reportedly, of those arrested, 35 are suspected to be in the country illegally, and are from the countries of Cuba, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, or the Bahamas.
According to Judd’s office, 83 individuals were detained for soliciting prostitution; 17 other suspects were apprehended, of which five earned proceeds from prostitution or aided and abetted prostitutes, and eight drove the prostitutes to the undercover location.
According to the sheriff, 42 of the suspects admitted to detectives that they were married, 13 said they received government assistance, 42 brought illegal drugs to the undercover location, two had firearms on them, and 18 were from other states.
