First of all, most apparently took 3+ jabs, so they got taken in and very addled by the psyop, and still are; add to that, now many of them don't feel well ("long covid" or 6th covid infection, GI issues, etc) and/or they are caring for family members who are not well, in particular, spouses and elderly relatives with dementia, cardiac, cancer, and/or other issues. Good question. Here's my inner-armchair-sociologist answer based on what I can see in my neck of the woods. First of all, most apparently took 3+ jabs, so they got taken in and very addled by the psyop, and still are; add to that, now many of them don't feel well ("long covid" or 6th covid infection, GI issues, etc) and/or they are caring for family members who are not well, in particular, spouses and elderly relatives with dementia, cardiac, cancer, and/or other issues. Add to that, their social and professional life was severely subdued in 2020 and 2021, so a lot of communication has broken down and not yet recovered. (Not to mention the headaches of having to deal with their "anti-vaxx" relatives!!) Add to that, many are on SSRIs and, long-term, taking benzoes to be able to sleep--not good for the brain. And then add to that, it's just all so weird these days in academia and other large bureaucracies with what you can say and what you can't say without getting seriously piled on as some sort of horrible Nazi-oid Neathderthal who must be canceled.
