This bill strikes me as more an attempt to ensure that the corrupt swamp rats won’t get prosecuted in a Red State. They would be able to move everything to the fully corrupt and captured Federal Court System. They fear retribution now that they have crossed the Rubicon with all their blatant lawfare and totalitarian Banana Republic schemes.

The money spent on the Ukraine War is to protect America's investment in the 10 to 12 Trillion Dollars worth of material assets the Ukraine has, which America does not want Russia or China to get. Since when did America get involved in someone elses war, unless there was something in it for them. Surely the US Armed Forces can understand why they won't be getting a pay rise, their pay rise has been allocated by Biden, to the Ukraine, to protect America's potential investments there - surely the US Armed forces can see the economics of the thing?
