I worked for Home Depot in the garden center during the Great Recession. I was an out of work general contractor. And a master gardener. 25hr/wk, five days a week, schedule changing every week, $10/hr. I was the first employee at that site to be employee of the month the first month I was there. After six months they wanted to move me to lumber for the winter. No pay increase, no more hours, no chance of either any time soon.
A manager there told me when he started at HD in 1994 he started at $12 and was at $14.50 after a year.

I believe my daughter had a break with reality yesterday, she was going to send her two kittens back, her car back and come live with me, I was stunned. She has a job and a life where she lives and yesterday was totally out of character for her. I'm now wondering with the 2 jabs she took in Dec of 2021 has gone to her brain. Now she has her phone off and won't talk to me, I really am concerned. Her fiancé left his job in a camp and flew home because he too is concerned. I'm hoping he can figure out what the hell is going on, I pray its not a jab injury.
As usual the Government is to blame. They closed down many businesses and gave "free" money to many in need but as per usual, no audits or verification (Somewhat like the Pentagon "misplacing" one trillion dollars of taxpayers money) . $350 billion dollars was put aside for those who lost their jobs during Covid. They also got to apply for Unemployment Benefits. Isn't life grand! Of course 80 billion was stolen by fraudsters. Yes, everything the Government touches turns to shit. So, you have to ask yourself - what are all these freeloaders doing for money now? I'm guessing many have hopped on the Welfare bandwagon. Again, feeling free to spend your money, the budget has increased to 5.8 Trillion dollars.....are you starting to see a pattern here???

I know one who got free medical treatment in Australia that would have cost him $200,000 in the US. He spends his days fishing, sailing and cruising around with an N95 mask secured to his face. He collects unemployment benefits, which are paid at a higher level and indefinitely in Australia and New Zealand. He's a Dem but has a rich RINO boyfriend in Utah. They both have TDS. The boyfriend is a Mormon and supports Mitt Romney. The Dem supports Biden. Every so often the boyfriend flies him back to the US for an all expenses paid vacation in places like Portland. The only condition is that he has to give the RINO head jobs for the duration of the vacation. He says he is not gay but wants to marry the RINO. The RINO was previously married to a beautiful woman who he dumped for a Mexican who walked in across the southern border. He has no desire to work.
