America has her problems, but these can be corrected by being principled rather than the ongoing paradigm of pragmatism (the sacrifice of valid long term principles for the sake of short term conveniences).
America was the closest approximation ever towards implementing a valid (albeit flawed) theory of morality applicable to the real world (Aristotelian Rational Egoism), from which to base the laws of any land. As an approximation, it was flawed but it can be corrected. This is where Ayn Rands philosophy becomes relevant.
