The good day for freedom? Does this ruling mean that trudeau and freeland go behind bars? Nothing will happen, they won't go to jail. They will appeal and maybe few people get compensation. That;s it.
No, Trudeau and Freeland won’t go to jail. But what is important in this case, is that it sets precedent for the lawful versus unlawful use of the Emergencies Act. Politicians are on notice that if they fraudulently make use of this extraordinary power in future, it will be overturned. That is politically damaging and humiliating to govt. and now, the people are aware. Further, there are ongoing civil and criminal cases that will be affected positively.
I was among many in the US who watched the Freedom Convoy, and supported it wholeheartedy. The Turdeau government goons and brown shirts were the criminals, abominable behavior. Canada has no right to peacefully protest its government?
Turdeau must be brought to actual justice. First he must resign.
In the US Madame Justice is afraid to wear a blindfold for fear that Brandon will approach her from behind and sniff her hair before coughing on her after having been jabbed 8 times.
I had a friend in 60s who retired shortly before Covid after beating cancer. He showed up in Windsor (his first time joining the freedom movement was this day) and he was brutally arrested, assaulted and thrown in jail without medical treatment. He suffered a concussion while on blood thinners. He had even asked a local officer if he was ok to stand where he was on the sidewalk. Not a moment later he was tackled from behind by non local officers (if you can call them that). This judgement was a long time coming but I’m so relieved that one judge was not compromised. I have a feeling the next judge will be heavily pressured by our government. I hope I’m wrong.
