The idea to use a trans person as part of your brand was very dumb, but what puzzles me is that that genius marketing person does not seem aware of focus testing. Surely a focus test would have signaled how bad this idea was. Surely focus testing is something they learn about in those ivy league schools.

Next up on the boycott parade Maybelline cosmetics. Could this whole trans spokesperson foolery be part of the CCP’s agenda to destroy companies I.e., our economy to brink their takeover of America even closer. These brands simply can’t be this stupid. I believe there are insiders working with the CCP. Let’s face it the CCP doesn’t give a rats arse about DEI they want us wearing the modern day Mao suit and any deviances will meet their fate as the CCP is known to roll.

For me, personally, the crime here isn’t that Bud’s young Harvard idiot marketing woman chose a Trans person to sell beer. She openly admitted the plan was to market to young influencers to make the product more attractive to a younger audience. Had she done her due diligence she would’ve realized the bulk of Dylan Mulvaney‘s millions of followers are 15 years old. The crime here isn’t that Bud stuck a Tranny on a beer can. The crime is they’re marketing beer to children. That is definitely not ok.

Hey' I've got an idea! How about new rock band to promote Bud Light?

It could be called "Beers for Queers".

Nothing to do with beer or trans, but seems relevant to one of Paul A's favorite topics: https://www.theblaze.com/news/7th-grader-hailed-as-hero-for-bringing-school-bus-to-a-stop-after-the-driver-passed-out-just-another-day

The ad agency world changed radically already back in the 1990's, at least in London, where eveything was starting to be done in-house by the client, and not by an outside ad-agency; alternatievly, if an outside agency were indeed employed, it did not wield the previous era all-encompassing creative licence where the client literally bowed down to the Mad-Men gods of art and copy.

I'll go with this campaign having been driven in-house, especially with it having come out of the USA.

It's really the transsexual boiler plate contemporary gig, with zero creative merit.

Purely from a financial perspective, I do fail to see how the campaign could ever generate any increases in sales volumes, unless of course the Bud drinking transsexual market is in the tens of millions; or many millions of transsexuals are straddling the thin line of thinking of going over the edge onto a massive Bud penis filled with rainbows and unicorns and the promise of immortality once a yummy Bud seed hits their tummy.
