This is such an important health "hack" that far too few are even aware of, truly a game (life!) changer. Have been practicing intermittent fasting myself daily for the past several years, mainly 18-6 but sometimes 16-8, 20-4, as well as extended fasting (24, 36, etc) once or twice a month. Everyone needs to find what works best for them, the benefits are remarkable on all levels and begin to show up very quickly too so it is not hard to find the motivation to keep going with it as a regular practice. OMAD (one meal a day) is my routine, of course one needs to be well hydrated which is not too difficult obv. Have been saying for years that people don't only tend to eat too much, THEY EAT TOO OFTEN. Cannot recommend this too highly, so glad Dr. A posted this again!!!

Autophagy is truly a "miraculous science discovery" and yes, won a Nobel prize. (See link)

Although it can be aided by certain foods etc., including coffee , fasting is truly the single best way to achieve autophagy "max health benefit" results.

For those, that may not understand , simply put, it is essentially a true "SPRING CLEANING" at the cellular level whereby the cell structure, and organelles (cell parts) have two choices; either commit suicide (apoptosis) (note - all cells have a life span and self destruct by apoptosis but sick or abnormal cells commit apoptosis early ) but far more likely the cell will literally DETOX and completely rebuild itself .

Some cancer cells attempt to STOP apoptosis thereby giving them - infinite immortality - to do more damage and divide into more and more dysfunctional tumor cells .

Autophagy will indeed try to STOP this dysfunctional cancer immortality, as a truly sick cell should recognize that it is time for apoptosis (cell death).

Image, patking your old car (that you drive daily,) for four days uninterrupted in your garage.

Your car thanks you for that rest.

On the fifth day you enter your garage, to find a brand new car.

Autophagy doesn't have limitations in terms of what it can heal or impact, in that it is truly a "panacea" , in that literally it helps in healing any/all disease or chronic illness "at the cellular level".

In this regard autophagy is an opportunity for it to restore itself through detox and self checks.

In this regard, it is akin to human SLEEP that too restores , detoxes and prepares yoyr body for rhe day.

In essence , it is healing medical science at the cellular l, organelle and mitochondria level.

Plain old fashioned fasting is difficult for many in modern stressful times, and frankly longer fast times are better . (Ex 2 to 7 days) .

Today, given the difficult challenge, most chose intermittent fasting meaning limiting your eating to just eight hours per day.

And yes , it will definitely impact diseases like cancer , or even long covid .

Perhaps the best part of autophagy is that it is FREE.

Just remember, - to stay hydrated as you fast .

Yes followed Dr. Marik for years, and he has taught me much.

On theccancer topic and especially alternative cures my top favorites are

1. "The Truth About Cancer" website by Ty and Charlene Bollinger . They have been investigating it for over a decade and produced fantastic documentaries (docu series) with hundreds of global experts . My favorite series was Seven Countries in seven days where they show you very different Cancer therapies with a multitude of success .

2 . The series called "Chris Cured Cancer" is also fantastic.

My advice is prevention is always best . Thus Selenium, Iodine, Vitamin C , D3, NAC and exercise are all preventative.

Cancers in Japan by example are fewer and no where near as aggressive . Japanese have by far larger iodine supplementation .

But in the end , you still have to love Dr. Marik .

If I was Uber rich I would build a hospital bearing his name , where doctors can be doctors without interference .

Japanese have also one of the lowest obesity rates. Being fat is very discouraged by Soviet and Govt.

I followed Dr Joseph Lee who recommended fasting long ago as a way to fight virus infections, including covid. He was silenced on Twitter like many other truth tellers.
