Clint Eastwood as he nears 100; when he goes, as we all do at some point, America and the world would have lost more than an icon; he represents what IMO, America is and was and should be! The best!

The photos tell a magical story; women wanted him in their man, we wanted him as a brother, a father, a grand-father, a friend; some version as we live the last 60 years and he played a huge part
I lived in Monterey CA when he was mayor of Carmel and actually ran into him on a hike. He did so many good works for free and with no publicity. Example, his mother needed to go to a care home and he couldn't find one he thought was worthy of her, so he bought land and built a beautiful facility and gave it to the city so long as his mom could live out her days there for free. It had a beautiful view and the residents there were low income.. Just one of the selfless acts he did that no one outside of the Monterey Peninsula ever heard about .
Thank you Doc, for honoring one of the most iconic influencers for good young men in the history of the world. I for one am grateful for the pleasure and good fortune of having Clint Eastwood to look up to. If I ever saw him in person, which I have not, he would instantly recognize me as a friend, a brother, and ally. I would venture to say I am a 'Clint' fan, clearly, as I recognize most of the photos you graciously provided for us to enjoy. I do pray God continues to bless him and his family, for eternity. As for those who fail to see eye to eye with the morals and values, grace and humour of Mr. Clint Eastwood... HANG 'EM HIGH.
I was a kid on Camp Pendleton when they were filming Heartbreak Ridge. A bunch of us rode our bikes to the officers club after school to see if we could catch a glimpse of him. He came out and said hello to all of us. I remember thinking he was surprisingly tall and striking. Definitely had that je ne sais quoi
Women swooned over Rock Hudson who was considered iconic of the American male long before Kevin Spacey and Dylan Mulvaney attained superheavyweight championships as such in the eyes of the world but even though it's now unpopular to say so I have always considered Clint Eastwood to be more of a real man.
Thank you for these pictures. I realized in viewing them, there are quite a few films I did not see - always lived his acting. But my best admiration for Clint is the natural man he is - he reflects the AMERICANA that I fear we have lost forever.
I was living in Santa Cruz, California, it was around 1983 when Clint Eastwood was filming some scenes from one of the "Dirty Harry" movies, friends of mind were extras, it was on the Main Street, the Pacific Garden Mall, much of it was destroyed in the 1989 earthquake...I
saw him from afar and you could tell he had that star quality, my friends were so excited I think one or two might actually had a line in the movie...
when he was Mayor of Carmel everyone liked him, he was an all-around good guy.
He had problems with his various wives and relationships and I think many of the women were not sincere in their feelings for him. His mom lived to almost 100 I think, maybe she did or older, he was very close with her.

“Go ahead Dr. make my day”!
Thanks Dr for the opportunity to “smile for a moment”.
Clint Eastwood was and still is the epitome” of MAGA America and Americans.
Clint certainly holds a deep love for America and the opportunity America gave him!
All Americans should be so grateful, especially those who lost a family member or friend fighting wars for all “MAGA” Americans freedoms.
Thank you Dr for shining a light on an American ICON, Clint Eastwood.

Thanks for lionizing a real man, and not a cuck, or woke, or homo

Great guy loved all of his movies and a legend of his own legend
He was completely right about Obama, an empty chair
Clint Eastwood is, was, and always will be one of the best actors and from what I am reading here in the comments, a good human being. And a real man!
