Trump has done a lot of great things during his first month in office. But, following his son-in-law's plan for Gaza isn't one of them, in my opinion. Israel is the head of the deep state in many regards. I think the best thing Trump can do is cut Israel off, and stop enabling them by giving them more US taxpayer $ and weapons.
Plus, at the end of the day America wouldn't capitalize on it at all, only Israel would. Even if America got some land and gas in Gaza, we would still have a net loss when we factor in the billions we give to Israel every year, and the billions of dollars that would be required to buy off the surrounding Arab countries so that they would accept millions of Palestinians into their counties.
