I believe bacterial pneumonia was the leading cause of death during the purported Spanish Flu. The main cause was . . . due to public mask mandate. Why did the mask mandate end? Because there was a large boxing match in San Francisco with 10,000+ attendees. None were wearing masks. When the photo of the event went viral - the mask mandate ended. Much like 2020, the leading causes of death were most likely baseless governmental and medical tyranny.

If fever is actually fighting ongoing viral replication, then yes, could be better to suck it up, If fever is the result of immune dysregulation caused by dead viral leftovers, then it could be beneficial to lower it.
My sister took aspirin when she had the flu when she was around 10 years old, and she got Reye Syndrome, which caused her brain to swell and she went into a comma for a couple weeks. Fortunately, she made a full recovery.

I have also recently watched a presentation by a doctor on the possible benefits of aspirin in regards to cancer and Dr. Mercola put out an article regarding aspirin benefits. Interestingly, they [supposedly] traced the infection back to a member of the canteen services who actually fully recovered. As with any medicine, and actually ANY substance eg water, the poison is in the dosage.
Soldiers as well as women and children were also given huge doses of heroin. Big Pharma and the State pushed it on them as a "non-addictive" alternative to morphine.

I would add to that it is recommended to take Vitamin K to prevent excessive bleeding. This advice was probably not well known, if at all.
