Yes his movements need to be accounted for, assuming he didn't send someone else. Odd, and convenient, that it happened when he was out. Also convenient, and perhaps odd, that if she was delusional and believed, who knows, that the baby was possessed perhaps, that she didn't also believe the parents and, definitely, the husband needed to be shot. Often in these domestic murder suicides they even shoot the family dog. However, in postpartum psychosis the perpetrators often seem to kill other family but not themselves. All very odd.

She was on maternity leave.

Reports that an ambulance was called to home "at least twice this summer".

Parents heard the 1st shot, thought something had fallen in the baby's room, then heard the 2nd shot.

They had to break open the locked door.

State Trooper reported, unequivocally: they were definitely not murdered by Talty, her husband.
