Yes why didn't they? Im going off script here for a minute, I saw Tucker do a video saying he's going to do a new show on Twitter on the X everything app, I think that's a horrible idea. That app is a social credit score steal our data and enslave us app, why would Tucker want to get involved with that?
so I did just the other renew my Twitter account under a new name (old handle).. just so i could see Elon Musk and Steve Hilton and some other news. I had no idea that Tucker would show up today.. and Twitter is a lot of work,, can be.. it is worth it.. :) and yes.. I posted on the Christian children on FB.. but it makes a difference .. when Elon posts it because he has a huge following: it matters to me as a Christian and a scientist.. :)
Musk is an entertaining showman and astute businessman. He's a charming person, I sat next to him at a charity dinner about 20 years ago and really enjoyed meeting him.
Twitter was opened up because they need to track conservatives, who were mostly deplatformed from mainstream social and other media. Conservatives don't answer polls, either. They don't trust them, which is why they are so wildly wrong at predicting elections. While Twitter is way better than it was before and it's not completely woke, it's still got many of the same issues. People are still banned for basically offering their opinions. He'll tie in the credit / money transfer like Paypal and eventually ESG and digital ID, which is the goal of that project. Media push will come from people like Tucker, who will be attracted to the platform.
His other operations (Space-x and Tesla) are basically offshoots of DARPA and DoD projects and have been heavily subsidized via tax credits and govt RandD. As an example, Starlink (part of Space-X) is MILSPEC technology, the phased array antennas form a beam 4 inches in diameter that go up to space 200 miles, tracking moving satelites. That's not some ordinary tech, it's Military tech.

Musk WILL eventually transform Twitter into a platform that does not rely on advertisers to be in the black. Once this happens, you can judge Musk.
