Indeed, for me it was so mild it lasted for about five hours. I took an IgM/IgG antibody test just out of interest and it was so weak I didn't even produce any antibodies ( to be fair it could be the case that it was all IgA antibodies, as this thing was pretty much 100% in my nose).
The only reason I know it was likely Omicron was because I was visiting my mother and she came down with a gastrointestinal problem at the same time. I looked it up and that's also a symptom of Omicron, no way we could both be infected with something at the same time.
Plus we were talking to a neighbour of my mother's and he got sick at the same time as us, he was desperately ill for two weeks and his doctor friend kept telling him to phone an ambulance.
