And, I must humbly admit that on my rare but embarrassingly spasmodic suicidal episodes that landed me in the medical clink, well I already feel a run-on sentence a comin'. Ahem, so anyhoo, me having one of my typical 'female horrror moanal' episodes' in the Emergency Room...well, guess who was there? The most gorgeous super glowing dark skinned East Indian Woman. Well, let me tell you, she took one look at me and how distraught I was and she said, "I know how to brush long hair, I will do your hair for you".
Well, let me tell you something...cuz I gotta walk this back a bit.
OKAY, I have freakishly baby FINE which is almost like silk/spider-web hair. I have hair that has puzzled hair stylists when I dared to even go to a couple. My hair TERRIFIES them. The start to brush my long arse hair and it just bounces up even though it's stick straight.
OKAY, so that's the back story a bit.
SO, this adorable, gorgeous East Indian woman who believes she knows long hair because it's normal to her heritage.
Now, this is where I have to say to myself in a hospital setting where I have no way to get out of, "Do I trust this sweet East Indian woman and let her go to town on my scalp or do I make a new frenemy in a place I'm terrified to be in?"
So, as she's pulling hair out of my head with every stroke of her hands through my hair (hand combing me)...I thought..."This is the sweetest, most precious thing a stranger has ever done for me".
"despite my argument that EBM has lost its way and it committed suicide over COVID."
The point is that EBM was 'lost' AT ITS INCEPTION such that it shouldn't have had to commit suicide. Why? Because it was ethically and morally Dead on Arrival.
If people want to know why our latterday saviors were late to the game of saving us from the C19 debacle it was because they were very much part of the game, to the extent of updating their "epidemiolgy with biowarfare training" and pursuing PhDs in Biowarfare.
We need to identify a lot more horsemen of the apocalypse.
