He has taken liberties beyond the sallow and weak at heart, however, it is his nature, but it was with his words, rather than his body. He's also escaped a whole wrath of shit by being himself. If he was "good" and "wholesome" they would have started their relentlessness long before they did. He gave "good appearances".
