Yes, indeed. I'm well-versed in these aspects of human trade history. Everyone could be made a slave in those trying times. I believe Epictetus himself was a slave for a significant part of his life. Feudalism and slavery are what the globalist elite wants to impose on us. This is the fight of our time.

"Epictetus was born a slave in Hierapolis in Asia Minor, and taken to Rome at an early age. There, he grew up as a slave in the household of Epaphroditus, himself a former slave of the emperor Nero. While still a slave, Epictetus got the opportunity to study philosophy with the famous Roman Stoic, Musonius Rufus."
