It was an intense experience grasping the concepts, most strikingly, letting go of the ego. Perhaps it was/is satisfying and liberating to embrace becoming “a silent witness.” You have planted an inner awareness - a reminder - in the constant search for danger one eventually finds exhaustion. To passively be aware and alert for danger,is not really exhausting, it's more like training yourself to sense other people's aura.
To do this you must be able to feel your own aura first.
Once you get the hang of it , then this sensation becomes one with you and dose not tax your energy.
Easier done,than most folks realize.
