Kariko and Weissman get the Nobel, not for inventing mRNA vaccines (because I did that) but for adding the psuedouridine that allowed unlimited spike toxins to be manufactured in what could have been a safe and effective vaccine platform, if safely developed. I'm not a Luddite. Having said that, it is my view that genetic engineering is sick and tinkering madness. Right from the start with plants, it should have been halted. We must regain sanity on the planet by moving in saner research directions.
