Friedman was a very smart man, and in this area (not *all*) he was 100% correct. The government is *supposed* to serve the people. Today, the table is turned - we the people are taxed at ever-increasing rates to pay for a government that is many times the size it should be. Adding insult to injury, instead of *defending* our rights and freedoms, today's government regularly infringes on those rights and freedoms, often times eliminating them altogether. In short, we the people now serve the government - under color of "law" and at the point of a gun.

The two greatest achievements T47 can make are (1) to punish all Fat Rats criminals in government, banking and industry and, (2) reduce government size and power by 50% or more.

Have you been given a position in the upcoming administration?

Many of these agencies are bloated with many "working" from home. Many agencies need to just vanish as the total failures they became (Dept of Ed for example)

complete, they should be shut down

Agreed, except for the treasury since they’re robbing more and more from Americans making it impossible for people to survive, which of course, is their intent.

Nothing is gonna happen to any government agency. Sure, they might cut back a few just to make it look like they are doing something. In the end, the economy still needs a growing government because we don't have the manufacturing foundation any longer and far too many are dependent upon government resources to survive.

A correction here. Note the real name of the killer was not Marc Lepine, it was Ganmil Gharbi. Miss Lepine was the mother, the father was Gamil Gharbi. Nice try media liars and whores. Why was the real name not used? Would it have been to detour the religion of the father and his murderous son? Huh? Political correctness again.

What happened in the classroom was true? How about the men there were ordered to leave and like good radfem supporters they did so. Why? I know some good ole boys who if they had been told to leave, so the murder of their women classmates could be done, would have rushed the killer and overpowered him but the radfem element had them trained to be docile and subservient so those men did exactly what they were told.

Now those suggested renditions might be more accurate than media reports but I am wondering if they are? Media deception to protect the politically correct lies? Could be?

This man has no moral compass and lacks any understanding of the phrase "government of, by and for the people." His whole focus is all about control, military, police and that is connected to the justice department. He seems to have no consciousness about the collective power needed for insuring education for all. Nor does he seem to see the need for a transportation dept that maintains the highways and rails that people use to travel around the country. Of course if he support the totalitarian concentration of people in vertical cities and the abolishing of vehicles for the people then....

In case people aren't thinking clearly, all these government agencies that address social needs came from the demands of the working public. The fact that they have become subject to control of the corporate elite is a problem that requires restructuring. In fact that has been Kennedy's mantra for years--getting the corporate control out of the CDC,FDA, USDA but that is not Friedman's view. He just thinks government by, of and for the people only means the corporate elite with its imperialist goals managed thru the military.

The only way these oligarchical ideas get sold to the people is the use of racism and false promises of living tax free. Some here might recall the fiasco of the Bush administration trying to sell privatized social security. People would not have control of their money as they would be mandated to invest it thru private brokers who would take a big chunk and that would leave even less for working people to have for retirement. This is Friedman's thinking. But guess what! The rich will pay even less tax and the people will be mandated to pay even more and that is exactly what Trump and the GOP have been promoting.

Of course if everyone reading here is super wealthy without any concerns for loss of income than Friedman's thinking will appeal to you.

I am not super wealthy, not even near it, I lost my income in COVID and 2 jobs as I fought the vaccines and the lockdowns, etc. after leaving Trump administration...some of us suffered and many in society do yet we appreciate Milton...
