I have never been fat in my life but my daughter lost weight thru the Keto diet, she did really well on it and has kept the weight off.

As did I. I've been Keto and mostly carnivore for 5 years now. I won't list my many ailments before I took the plunge but am happy to say I med free and healthier at 60 than I was at 40.

I'll see your unlisted ailments and med freedom and raise you about 10 ailments that are gone or greatly mitigated by going very low carb. I sure wish I'd learned this before turning 60...

Better late than never. Sounds like you've done a 180 healthwise👍 The best way of cooking I've discovered is to seal meat completely in foil to prevent any moisture loss and low temp cook at the "done" minimum temperature of 160-170f. until internal temp is reached. Slow Low Deer roast is incredible, melt in your mouth. Cheap beef, no such thing as a tough cut. Just have to plan ahead as cook time can be up to 2 days depending on size. Some of my best was cooked in a toaster oven. Slow cookers are always too hot to do it justice.

I've been a vegetarian, once removed, my entire life. I only eat animals that eat vegetables😜. I was seriously ill 2 times in my life. I had the flu once in 1977, until foolishly taking my 1st vax (convid) since childhood in the 60s. Downhill since that very day. Keto doesn't work for everyone but 1000s of years of Inuit diet is not to be ignored. Key is not overcooking, almost raw is best & if you cook it like BBQ to use Rosemary which actually neutralizes potential nitrates & carcinogens from overcooking. Wild meat is 👍👍 but hard to get if you can't hunt. Buffalo & Elk farmed are good substitutes.

I did too to such a point that the secretary asked me if I was ill. I did have to replace all pants. Limited time eating, grass-fed beef directly from a local farmer, and strength training helped. Since I live in a big city, I never bought a car, instead put my income into paying off my condo, i.e., mortgage paid off after 15 years. So, unnecessary stress was reduced.

This is apparently a bit outside of your wheelhouse it appears. Metabolism is not only about thermodynamics. Energy in = energy out has been proven to be only partially correct. The type of foods you eat matters as much or more than the calorie count. You cannot outrun a bad diet. Our food system is designed to addict us and make us sick. Sort of a joint venture between Big Food and Big Pharma. The same quantity of calories from High Fructose Corn Syrup, refined grains and seed oils metabolize and effect weight gain in dramatically fashion than from eggs and meat or butter for example. You may want to take a deeper dive into the science behind it. Not "the science" but actual research in this area. Maybe start with the "Low Carb Denver" lecture videos. So many brilliant physicians have a limited knowledge of latest research in this area and really need to get educated quickly if we are going to fight this fight. Our food pyramid is upside down on purpose I'm sad to say.

never seen anyone hold a gun to someone's head demanding that they SuperSize it.

True; however, unless people have the knowledge referred to in Kurt's message above (other than the second sentence), they may be powerfully lured into overeating and craving junk. This is true even if they think they are "eating healthy".

For example, the unhealthiest foods at a fast food restaurant may be: fries, soft drinks, buns, and sweetened condiments. Most people don't know that if they only ate hamburgers patties they would be healthier than if they ate the other four items.

SuperSize means for me - two meals, eat one, save one for later. I bring storage containers with me to some places.

You can't screw up the hormones and metabolism and expect the body to work right.

You make many, many good points; however, "Energy in = energy out has been proven to be only partially correct" is imprecise. The issue is not that it is only partially correct, but that it is irrelevant and not insightful with respect to human metabolism.

funny how some people think that obesity will exist in 2035.

or 2030 for that matter.

I hear you. It’s presumptuous of us to even expect tomorrow.

Especially when TPTB around the world are aligned with the same lethal intent. I’m stubborn, though, as I suspect everyone reading is as well. I’m unjabbed, still exercising, eating well, and taking lots of supplements. That’s despite knowing a growing group of people who’re injured or now dead from the ClotShots.

We live to fight another day.

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

Well, if they're following the new food pyramid, I can understand it. The young ones aren't bright enough to ignore what the government tells them and they've put eat sugary cereal as the mainstay of everyone's daily diet and stay away from fruits, vegetables, and meats. (Probably because they're making sure those items will not be available for us peons to eat.)

Obesity in children has increased markedly over the last 30 years in line with the massive increase of vaccines in the childhood schedule. Is there any possible connection? Or, is the problem lack of activity, sugar bombs know as sodas and other drinks or fast food?

Expand full comment

Too many parents give their children food to distract them from "bothering" them rather than giving them the attention they need to thrive.

Expand full comment

🙃 Don't they know that they were supposed to use a TV for that in the 20th century, and now they're supposed to use a table or smartphone for that? 🙃

That's a fact!

To your first point, we don't know since no studies were done with the vaccines in combination. The mRNA toxic jab on the other hand is guaranteed to cause inflammation and the spike spreads throughout the body even the brain (autopsy report) and concentrates in reproductive organs. Big Pharma was in need a source of revenue and they didn't object to making people addictive or thinking that they had to have the latest booster.

Regarding the second point, the sugary drinks and processed fast food with seed oils can't be overridden with more activity. The metabolism and major organ systems can be permanently damaged. Big Food didn't mind making people sick, it helped Big Pharma and the Gov't control the masses.

Most kids sit on their butts in front of some sort of screen. No out with friends walking or biking somewhere. No playing outdoors. Then add in the crap food everyone, including adults, eats, I don't see why it would be the shots.

Expand full comment

Ok, I'm not the one indicating it's the shots. I saw children start gaining weight and reaching early puberty after rBGH was given to the cattle to make them gain weight.

Expand full comment

They test the milk for rBGH. The tests are negative. I can't speak for the meat. I worked in milk processing for 9 years.

Expand full comment

Well. Perhaps they were testing organic milk. The clip below shows it is still used in conventional dairy farming.

You’ve probably seen “rBGH-free” on a label or two, but do you have any idea what those letters actually mean? rBGH stands for recombinant bovine growth hormone. It’s a lab-made growth hormone that’s created using recombinant DNA processes to mimic the bovine growth hormone that cows naturally produce in their bodies.

About 60 years ago, scientists found that milk production increased when cows were injected with growth hormone extracted from cattle pituitary glands. When, in the 1980s, the development of recombinant DNA processes made it possible to produce large quantities of bovine growth hormone in a lab, the use of rBGH in agriculture was inevitable. In 1993 the FDA approved Monsanto Company’s application for a drug containing rBGH, and synthetic growth hormones have been a part of conventional dairy production ever since.

No! Really?! 😲

🙄

9 years in a huge milk processing facility owned by an international corporation and I don't know what kind of testing we did. Uh-huh. When that was part of my job. Sure.

You can believe whatever you want. You can spread all the lies, or personal opinion, or whatever you want. I know what the results of our testing said.

Expand full comment

So what were you testing? Organic milk? Did you test it for rbST and pus in the milk? Sorry, unless it's organic I'm not buying your opinion that ALL milk does not have the growth hormones in it. https://www.foodsafetynews.com/2010/10/court-rules-ohio-ban-on-hormone-labeling-unconstitutional/

Gorgo, and to add to your comment, children today are rarely seen playing outside. Instead they are inside watching tv and playing on their phones/Ipads, etc.

Part of the problem is rBGH they inject the cattle with. It ends up in milk, cheese, other dairy and meat.

This message is to Dr. Paul Alexander!

Good Afternoon Paul,

I am working with one gentleman who is working very hard on putting the Covid criminals into prison. Currently, he submitted his evidence package to over 300 police stations in Ontario, Canada. The next submission is planned for March 18 2023 at noon.

He is looking for Vaccine, lockdown injured (suicide), dead or alive people but only in Ontario, Canada, so he can add them to his evidence package.

Please note that he is aiming only for Criminal investigation.

If you have this info and you could reply to me via email or this post it here it would be great. You say "Lock them up". He says " Prison for Life".

I hope that everything is fine with you and your family. We met last February on the Niagara Bridge (Flag exchange), Toronto when Pfizer offered you the money, Fort Erie during the summer ( Flag exchange) .

Thanks,

Laszlo

Let's not forget my High School years where there were only a couple of people in my class of 900+ students who were overweight. What changed? - processed foods, added sugar (sucrose, glucose, dextrose, fructose), and the toxic sludge, seed, "vegetable" oils. My parents bought 1/2 cow every September and Grandma canned fruits and vegetables during the summer. Food was cooked at home. My Grandfather and Dad didn't do weightlifting, they took sandwiches and coffee with them to work. They built their own houses and I helped. If diabetes occurred, it was when they were really elderly.

My weight has been slowly drifting down, and has already been in a good range for a long time, despite eating a satisfying amount of cheese, ghee, butter, heavy cream, half-and-half, plain whole milk greek yogurt, and olive oil almost every day.

I consume ice cream, on the other hand, just a couple times a year. The difference: no carbs in any of the fats I listed above, except for the half-and-half and greek yogurt. I've been lowering them to a few ounces each a day, due to a desire to limit those naturally occurring sugars.

I've never been overweight but I discovered 20 yrs ago that Dr. Atkins in his diet book (very low carb) mentioned that carb digestion cause inflammation. He was way before his time on this issue. since then I have been in the 100 grams of carbs per day. carbs kill, make you fat. that's why keto, paleo (my choice), "diets" work. eat like our ancestors did 500,000 years ago (and earlier). that is when our bodies evolved. carbs were scarce except for the tubers and roots underground. cholesterol theory is BS. eat like a cave (wo)man and you will be healthier and lighter.

Obesity is the one epidemic that's for real and is not exaggerated. And this epidemic happened under Fauci's watch.

Our family went to Disney World last spring. I was struck by the large percentage of people who were overweight (I could lose 25 pounds myself). Also, by the large numbers of patrons who needed scooters to get around, most because they were too overweight.

It would be interesting to look at some random pictures park visitors in, say, 1980, and compare the waist lines to 2023.

More obese people equals a lot more medical bills in the future. Where's this $ going to come from?

Before you diet, eat for one month the calories at your weight goal. No need to cut to 800 calories on your diet if your maintenance goal is going to be 1500 for the rest of your life ( and you can’t even do that for a month).

I’ve been in a gym my adult life and have never seen fat or chubby women lose weight They may maintain but never lose. Change your diet, cut out the French fries and sweets. Exercise.
