The irony of this story is that a few short years ago, and still in some locations, the anti-gun lunatics are trying to ban protective vests. The second amendment cabal excels in hypocrisy.
I think we should ban all knives and eat with our fingers. You can't buy a gun legitimately in Cook county, Illinois. They still have a high murder rate in the gang war wards. Ban all guns nationally and the bad guys will still have them. By then we will no longer have law and order because no one will want to risk there life by defending the innocent. We will all live in prison compounds.

If there were jobs and decent housing and health care and good education then people would not be out on the streets trying to figure out how to survive. History shows this to be true. Further, get the cops away from people and the death rate goes down. Stick to science which seems to be your forte.
