So that’s what it’s come to...wearing a wolf proof vest to ride the subway or maybe go to the grocery store? This is insanity on steroids.

As a NYer in the subways all the time this seems very overblown & nowhere near the scary subways we had in 1970's or 1980's.. almost 9 million people $#@& always happens.

So are the rising numbers of stabbings.

And shootings.

Do they make the vest in a sport coat? If only I'd been wearing it when I got my booster in late 2021, it might have prevented all the side effects.

Happening in Canada as well. The TTC is on a roll for violent attacks on the transit property, virtually a daily occurrence in Toronto.

The irony of this story is that a few short years ago, and still in some locations, the anti-gun lunatics are trying to ban protective vests. The second amendment cabal excels in hypocrisy.

I think we should ban all knives and eat with our fingers. You can't buy a gun legitimately in Cook county, Illinois. They still have a high murder rate in the gang war wards. Ban all guns nationally and the bad guys will still have them. By then we will no longer have law and order because no one will want to risk there life by defending the innocent. We will all live in prison compounds.

Globalist want cars gone for the same reason, right ??? 🤡🤡🤡🙄😀

When those who go around stabbing people start wearing these, you must still be able to shoot.

That’s ok, but it’s your neck!!! Need neck braces, too. Need to listen Robert Spencer and read his books, as well as his Jahari watch, website. Then between he and David Wood you’ll learn about the enemy.

Normally I’m not one for censorship. But I am against availing platforms for those whose missions are antithetical to causes I support. With that in mind, I hope you kick Tanya’s ass curbside as her offerings only distract from pertinent information (and time spent at any enterprise is invariably at the expense of another).

Enough of this fear mongering based on racism. Crime rate is not soaring as the marketers of this vest will try to sell. I am so tired of this nonsense. If there were jobs and decent housing and health care and good education then people would not be out on the streets trying to figure out how to survive. History shows this to be true. Further, get the cops away from people and the death rate goes down. Stick to science which seems to be your forte.

Give it a rest Tanya. I taught in a "failing" district for 25 years - the kids lacked for NOTHING. All new texts, supplies furnished. Free breakfast, lunch, after school snack. Everyone had a laptop, with the newest model of jumbotron in every classroom. A smart, diverse, engaged faculty. What WAS lacking was student interest, and any real motivation. Don't even ask me to recall how many former students are now arrested, incarcerated or dead in the street themselves. The violent, chaotic, feral lifestyle is the problem. And no amount of handouts will make a difference. We've been there, done that.

Every comment you post is a stupid fail.

You last sentence is the crux of your problem--elitist, judgemental, rude and ignorant. And given the decades of my experience in dealing with people like you, as well as schools in disempowered communities it is clear you have no idea what you are talking about including the fact that you were probably part of the problem.

Expand full comment

Make my point for me why don't you.

You didn't address anything I said - taking advantage of every opportunity, that schools are pleading with these kids to take . . . THAT is the crux of the problem.

The blame game card is maxed out. And everyone knows it. Everyone except those with a vested interest in keeping the racket going.

I'm off your carousel. Don't bother replying, you aren't changing my mind. Not one iota.

I did address your bigoted point and told you effort to insult me only reflects you inability to be civil to me or the very people you probably injured in a classroom. Your inability to understand what I wrote reflects your inability to understand your poor students who suffered you Adios!

Again, nonsense from Tanya.
