The Gila monster's venom contains a hormone called exendin-4 that's similar to the human hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1):

GLP-1: A hormone in the digestive tract that increases insulin production in the pancreas

Exendin-4: A hormone in the Gila monster's saliva that mimics the effects of GLP-1

Ozempic has a boxed warning, also known as a "black box warning", which is the FDA's most serious safety warning. The warning is due to the potential for Ozempic to cause serious or life-threatening side effects, including:

Thyroid tumors, including cancer

Pancreatitis

Kidney failure

Gallbladder disease

Changes in vision

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)

Allergic reactions

The FDA advises patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC), or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2) to avoid Ozempic

Other side effects of Ozempic include: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Constipation, and Stomach pain

There is also a dark side of Ozempic that goes beyond the physical side effects. There have been several reports of suicidal behavior. The higher doses of semaglutide come with warnings for suicidal behavior and thinking, and the FDA recommends that prescribers monitor their patients for suicidal thoughts and behaviors if they are taking this drug.4

Unfortunately, using Ozempic for weight loss comes from societal pressures and diet culture promoting weight reduction and smaller body sizes. This media contributes to the perpetuation of weight bias, weight stigma, and body shaming. This message can be very triggering and damaging for individuals suffering from eating disorders and for those in recovery from their eating disorders

You are welcome Joey. Eat the real food, filtered air, filtered water, think well are some of the things that can reverse many diseases that we may have been told by the whitecoat doctors. The healthy probiotics whole food vitamins so no deficiencies in vitamins minerals. Something metabolic is off in the body in my opinion sometimes the mental spirit physical can be out of balance. The dental care is important also if infections exist can cause low grade inflammation which is necessary for inflammatory disease process. Arthritis, Hashimoto thyroid, memory issues, and many other diseases. Turn off the chronic inflammation is important overall health. I don't want to see anyone with the inflammatory process it's quite painful and sometimes it can lead to more infections or cancer. Ask the human if he cares if the child or himself get cancer and possibly die early.

Oh my goodness you MUST stop her!! Print out every study, including from the pharmaceutical companies ingredients and studies. They tend to prove themselves evil within the studies!

Get a restraining order if you must to have time to gather this information and call a lawyer! Do everything in your power to stop her!

Your child’s life depends on it!! I’m incredibly sorry you’re dealing with this! You and your child will be in my prayers!

This parent would need an expert witness to counter the doctor prescribing the weight-loss drug to the child.

Judges are overly impressed with the testimony of doctors, no matter what nonsense they support or the conflicts of interest they represent.

My wife was on Mounjaro for about a year. Was never even slightly overweight to begin with but I guess fell into the pressure of bullshit celebrities loosing a bunch of weight and touting these drugs. I told her from day 1 it's gotta be bad for her. Never knew exactly why but if they are pushing it as hard as they are, u know it can't be good! She finally stopped them last month. Thank God. Not to mention, we paid out of pocket for the shit every month. Nearly $1,200 a pop

Scary! I hope neither of you experience further health issues from taking it! Eat whole, organics food only, and do what you can to detox your liver and body! There’s tremendous information available to do that. Growing your own food from organic, heirloom seed is the direction we all must go! Your health is worth the extra cost! Spend it on clean food or poisoned medication for bad health is the way I look at it.

A friend of mine just started taking ozempic & I told her that it was dangerous but I couldn’t remember why it was so bad bc I hadn’t looked into it too much, I’ve just seen it mentioned by a lot of non mainstream news outlets I follow. I’m glad you posted this, it’ll give me somewhere to start 🥰

In fit, buff countries there is a joke "How many Americans does it take to fill the Grand Canyon? Four." American adults, especially males, are world leaders in obesity, just marginally less obese on average than Egyptians although not quite as obese as Tongans, Samoans and a few other mostly island nations. America certainly leads the West. Japan has a few Sumo wrestlers but not even they can compete with Americans in obesity. Russia, Ecuador, Trinidad and Tobago, Norway, Spain, Japan, the UK and in fact most countries trail the US in obesity. Diet and exercise have been recommended for decades but Americans stubbornly refuse to leave the sofa and to stop gorging. According to recent media reports over half of American adults "qualify" for Ozempic or Wegovy. However, the side effects are concerning. Americans want a magic pill or an injection. Americans seem to love injections. 81% lined up for mRNA and AVV jabs. It is hard to imagine Americans getting off their butts or putting down their forks and knives. Is Mounjaro the answer? Is it any better than Ozempic or Wegovy?

Glad you are pushing this so hard! So dangerous and ruining people!! I think they should be removed from the market! Deadly!

Surely, all medications, either scripted and/or over the counter, should be clearly labelled "...approved as safe by the FDA..." or "...not approved as safe by the FDA..." , together with an appropriate reference code. End of story.

Expand full comment

You believe the FDA??? I’d do the opposite of almost anything they say.

Expand full comment

Well I guess so but if there was a meaningful codicil that brought actionable liability to the FDA's declaration of safe and effective then we may see different results. Currently any back yard lab can place a product on the medical market if the FDA says it is OK. The FDA must face stronger punitive actions where it is proven that such products are defective and the FDA has not tested adequately for safety before market release. A case in point is the HepB vaccinations of one day old infants - CDC/FDA admits that their observational safety assessment was conducted for a period of 3 days post inoculation in a trial setting! This ridiculous - a babies immune defence mechanism takes weeks to months to mature so this product should never have been released to market until observational safety studies comprising at least months were performed to validate claims of safety before market release.
