I am British and in my 70s. I think the Monarchy is outdated. I take each member on their individual merits, and I do appreciate the difficult position being born into the Royal Family places a person. I agree about Princess Catherine being a decent member of the RF. She works hard and is always friendly to everybody, indeed her loyalty to the country and graciousness in her public duties are exemplary.
I refuse on this occasion to join the sceptics about her situation. I simply could not bear to make that unforgivable mistake of being unkind about something as dreadfully distressing as a cancer diagnosis in a young mother, no matter who she may be.
This is not the time to discuss the Monarchy or its history. I am aware that the horrific injection cannot be ignored. It is not possible to ignore the frightening and heinous incidence of cancer following this terrible distribution of these injections, despite so many of us begging that they hold back so that more research could be done before peoples' lives were put at risk.
I do not hold the Princess and Prince responsible for advocating people have the injection. I wish they had kept out of it. But I am sure they would not have understood the horror and fear that those of us with more information felt, and they would have been heavily manipulated into supporting the government's policy.
My heart goes out to everybody suffering with cancer. I hope and pray that treatment will be effective and kind, and that a good recovery will soon come to all cancer sufferers.

She won't say the type of CA or stage but given her age and sex and that she was hospitalized for 3 weeks after surgery my guess is CA of the ovary or cervix. And the fact that she has been started on chemotherapy means that the CA, regardless of origin, has spread beyond the primary site. In other words, it is metastatic and at either Stage 3 or Stage 4. Anything less than that would not be given chemo.
