I agree with you. Authorizing the military to act within our borders is a dangerous and slippery slope to basically martial law. The only way I would be comfortable with it being used is if there was a threat at our borders or a large organized group of foreign nationals acting within our country. Then again, It should be deployed only in that particular area and not Nationwide - and never, ever against our own people. We have the police for that, which have now pretty much militarized themselves with military grade equipment. š
