Blaming others for ones own personal failings is not relegated to race, sex or ethnicity. It is a defect of character that can be found in every society to greater and lesser degrees. Character is shaped in childhood by parents, teachers and coaches. At least it was when I was growing up 55 years ago. A time when my character was molded. A mold so fixed that even drug and alcohol addiction couldn't destroy the core values instilled in me, a bastard child, by my mother who raised me alone with the belief that I could do anything I putt my mind to.
