Here is hardcore reality:

Trump has until midterm elections. RNC half of Uniparty WILL intentionally lose Senate Majority. Then Trump will be lame duck for two years and the inactivity of the last two years will be used against Vance to prevent his POTUS election. After that, its back to business as usual for Deep State.

Trump has two years. Clock starts at Noon on Jan 20

boom, I said so this morning, the next 2 years is what we have...and where Trump has the ONLY space to act

The Senate RINOS are very happy with the selection of Marco Rubio for his new role. They have been joined by Democrat Adam Schiff who has lauded Rubio. Rubio will be easily confirmed given the bipartisan support for him from both RINOS and Dems.

Schiff lauding means huge issues....not a good sign

Expand full comment

Rubio is totally a RINO, so that really makes no difference to me.

I wasn't aware of this reaction to Rubio, ANW. Adam Schiff's approval is damning. Thanks for the information.

I was taken aback by Rubio's nomination. He frankly rubs me the wrong way, although I admit I've largely ignored him.

Could it be that, in consideration of the grand plan to deport millions of (mostly Latin American) illegal aliens, Trump and his transition team believed Rubio would be an asset in that regard?

I just don't envision his grating personality interacting well on behalf of the U.S. with NATO, Russia, Ukraine, China, Israel, Iran, and others.

I AM happy to be very soon rid of arrogant ineffective Antony Blinken, though.

I am saying she did ok in Florida as AG etc. and it may well be she performs as AG federally...let us see how the confirmation goes and if confirmed, we have to give her full support and see how it goes. Trust is rare and 47 trusts her...I do not want to question her at this point...I start with hope and trust and support.

I have no problem with Pam Bondi, I think she was the intended pick all along, and the Gaetz Gambit was a chess move. What concerns me is this:

very much so

very bothersome, yes.

Not a fan of the Bondi choice (and no, I don't know her), it's the cumulative "reveal" of these appointments in a distinctly pro+globalist playing field.

very very worried.

I like your thinking Dave on Pam

I had already expressed my view on Bondi - summarizing (for what it's worth):

Bondi did "okay-ish" as AG in Florida (BTW, I lived in Florida when Bondi was the AG).

Unfortunately, "okay-ish" is not what's needed right now for the US AG position. If T45 is *truly* going to war against the swamp, then we need a man's man, a guy willing to go into a bare knuckles fight with the swamp psycho-pigs (because that's exactly what he'll be up against). Bondi is intellectually qualified for the job, but she's a *lady* - we need a rough-n-tough grunt for this job.

On the other hand, if all we're getting with T47 is the same T45 that was going to "drain the swamp", then Bondi is more than good enough. She'll be the female version of T45's AG Jeff Sessions.

female version of T45's AG Jeff Sessions.

that was devastating, Jeff was devastating

Bondi IMO is good for Florida...was great...we need Rambo, mandingo up in there

Expand full comment

willing to see how she rolls but replacement for Gaetz should have been bullet proof and met all thresholds....again, I am willing to give her space...I do trust 47...I am very very concerned he is being destroyed form within now...subverted

I am hoping she is a mandingo in disguise and will lay siege on the lawfare and devastating Justice department

I have to agree. I think the current AG Moody in Florida is much more aggressive in getting things done than Bondi ever was. I also watched Bondi during her performance as part of Trump's impeachment trial, and she came across to me as weak, and even a bit rattled and nervous. She's just not a good pick - AGAIN!

Expand full comment

We agree. Bondi's "perfect" under conditions *other* than what we now have. But, who knows, maybe she'll step-up and come out fighting against the swamp like a vicious tiger.

I wish I could bet on that happening, but I can't. I'm expecting 'Jeff Sessions' in a dress.

Tough ("feminist") women expect all successful women to be tough like them. And try to influence men to underestimate feminine women.

I'm no expert on Pam Bondi but I can suggest that it's not necessary to "act like a man" to get the job done.

we may be pleasantly surprised that she gots the goods

My mom (RIP) was tough as nails - tougher than many men I've known. She "got the job done" in spite of countless obstacles. Many men would have quit.

But *THIS* job, under these circumstances, demands more. Bondi isn't it.

Bondi has been praised by democrats for her attitude to Democrats.

Expand full comment

you make me laugh.

A good attitude toward Democrats is a plus. It can be disarming and catch them off guard.

Expand full comment

The DEM vs REP narrative is long outdated.

Bondi's position against *Globalists* is all that matters.

Expand full comment

I agree. She came across very weak, and even seemed rattled and nervous during her comments in Trump's impeachment trial. I never forgot that. She failed when she had a chance to prove herself, so now I just don't trust her.

Expand full comment

Some Democrats speak very highly of her.

Expand full comment

that gives me shakes

Hmm...disconcerting.

Expand full comment

If any Democrat speaks "highly" of Bondi, that's definitely a bad omen

Expand full comment

She's better looking than Sessions. But that may be just a coincidence.

Expand full comment

Yeah but "looks" aren't what's needed. We need someone willing to go bare knuckles in the mud with the pigs. Bondi might worry about breaking a nail, dirtying her dress, or messing up her hair. [Good heavens - what a chauvinist!!]

To dispel the notion that I'm against females, I'll name you one that may (may!?!) be up to the job: Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Expand full comment

I agree. She totally says what she means. I also like AG Moody in Florida. From what I've seen of her so far, she's a tough cookie, really says the tough things clearly, and she's no glamor girl. Just all business. That's what we need.

Pam Bondi should NOT be fully independent of Trump's influence unless he pursues pressures DOJ to pursue unconstitutional or illegal actions. There is no indication that he would do so. Constitutionally, the AG is not independent of the President. POTUS is chief magistrate and the AG's authority is derivative from the president's constitutional power. If she has an irreconcilable dispute with Trump the proper response would be for her to resign and explain her reason for resigning.

A key part of the deep state is heads of Executive departments or agencies feeling empowered to pursue policy agendas opposed the President's agenda.

Expand full comment

I wholeheartedly agree, Sidney.

Expand full comment

I think too often in political affairs, we tend to obsess on personalities instead of history and constitution. When we do that we tend to swallow the "myths of the regime". The fantasy that DOJ must be independent is first false and second routinely ignored by the left when they are in power. It seems we have similar thought habits.

Expand full comment

No, the proper response would be to do what the Constitution calls for, and nothing else.

Expand full comment

I agree with you. The Constitution vests all executive power, including law enforcement, in the President. Constitutionally, the AG is not independent of the President. Accepted norms (which is what corrupt Congressmen appeal to) are almost always in conflict with the Constitution.

Expand full comment

That’s correct. The AG and the Dept. of Justice are part of the Executive Branch, and are totally under control of the President. He hires and fires those folks. They definitely work for him. And FYI, that is not in the Constitution. The DOJ was formed after the Constitution was finalized.

Expand full comment

Many Cabinet Departments were created after the Constitution was adopted. All derive their power by delegation from the President. The Supreme Court has often held that all executive powers are vested in the President. The Constitutional theory is that of the Unitary Executive.

I like her better than Gaetz. She has much more relevant experience and seems tough.

Expand full comment

No Gaetz was the perfect choice, no one else comes close including Bondi. Gaetz was fearless and disregarded collateral damage.

Expand full comment

No. She doesn't even know our Constitution. Never needed it becausei it hasn't been a priority for almost everyone seeking or holding a lucrative government position. And frankly, never cared. People who do are either dead or few.

I do not recommend her to any position until proven otherwise. She needs a full CAT scan and more investigative inquiry before she earns any trust from anyone. She has not earned my trust until she is proven otherwise. If she can be given money or perks from anyone no good, NO!!! I cannot nominate for any position

NOT GOOD! Please research Timothy Charles Holmseth regarding a memo written to Jeff Sessions on December 20, 2017 regarding Pam Bondi and Then VP Mike Pence regarding child trafficking. Not good at all! If you can look up and find the entire document please read it thoroughly.

A little to weak on the second amendment for my taste but otherwise a good pick. Trump is just too mysogenistic now isn't he....all those women in the cabinet...and one even a woman of color...how can the leftists be mad about that? Oh, right, she's too blonde....

Even "weak" on the 2nd Amendment is a loud NO!

Expand full comment

Gaetz was an excellent pick who would have prosecuted COVID crimes. Bondi, on the other hand, gave us US Supreme Court decisions Florida v. Harris and Florida v. Jardines a decade ago. As a result, the 4th Amendment right against unreasonable search and seizure may be nullified by a single sniffer dog. If it "alerts" that contraband is present, you're done. This is compounded by a literal $2 test for drugs that generates many false positives. Sound familiar? Harris was unanimous, despite it being proven that up to 80% of sniffer dog alerts are flat out wrong. Jardines was 5-4 against allowing Nazi-style door-to-door searches with sniffer dogs, then kicking in doors on positive alerts. The majority held that domiciles are sacred legal ground, and that a man remains the "king of his castle" without warrant, or justification via "plain sight doctrine". Bondi has absolutely zero respect for the battered 4th Amendment, mens rea (the "guilty mind" requirement removed in Florida by the legislature for drug crimes), or the rest of that pesky Constitution- except for perhaps #2A, thank God. Trump picked her FAR too quickly out of loyalty how she defended him from the vicious lawfare waged against him. Treasury, Chief of Staff, Surgeon General and now AG cannot be trusted further than one can spit.

Cute play on words Doc. Here is my response to yours... The Ma'am called Pam will serve Uncle Sam and the door will slam on the cartels scam. Too late to close the gates or win the debates about the hate of the degenerates who incarcerate or incinerate. Bondi will fondly embrace the truth and jail the Ponzi and the obtuse. The left will still lean, and the right will preen, but the Deep State still keen, will still kill our youth. Doctors on orders, the State without borders, the death toll will rise without Executive Orders exiting WHO.
