I heard this yesterday from a paralegal and it makes sense. Do not invoke the Charter. The way it is worded, it puts onus on you to prove that what they are doing isn’t justified under article 1. I think many including me have been misunderstanding. Use the Canadian Bill of Rights only because it is absolutely clear on human rights and no exception. This bill from 1960 had Royal Assent and is in full effect. The government is using the Charter against us and doesn’t want you to invoke the Bill
