No. Because it’s no one’s business whether you took the jab OR not. Do you want to know the vax status of everyone who drives, too?

Then why do they still have Covid19 vaccine mandates if it is no one's business? You have to be Covid19 vaccinated to work a job, go to school, go to the theater, obtain certain healthcare (transplants etc).

Seems it is still a big deal that everyone be vaccinated and that everyone show their vaccination status to the world in order to live day to day. But now it is no one's business to know if a pilot has had a Covid19 vaccination? Hypocritical BS.

this is SPOT ON. As with so many things, policy is modified to benefit TPTB.

I don't need to know the status of anyone EXCEPT those who hold my life in their hands. No, I don't consider a driver on the road to hold my life in their hands (any more so than a drunk driver does, which is not negligible) but when it comes to a tube in the air where I have zero control as to the outcome then yes, I DO need to know the vax status.

/moot point anyway, as I will never board a plane again.

That you will never board a plane again suggests strongly that vax status is an issue.

Yes, that's exactly what I said. Vax status IS an issue when it comes to those who hold my life in their hands.

I’m not hypocritical; I am a pure blood and have been on the receiving end of the prejudice the unVaxxed have been subjected to. Which is why I won’t demand it if others. Fear mongering comes from both sides; I refuse to be fearful.

A hypothetical: If you find yourself needing a blood transfusion, would you state a preference for unvaxxed blood? If so, then vax status does matter. And, would doing so be an indicator of fear on your part?

If I were in that situation I would absolutely want blood from an unvaxxed person. And yes, that absolutely comes from fear of having contaminated blood in my body.

I would definitely want unVaxxed blood but even if I banked my own in anticipation of a procedure or had to have an emergency transfusion and requested unVaxxed blood the probability that the request would be honored is extremely low. Not out of fear, out of personal preference and prudence. Ultimately, my life (and yours) are in God’s hands and it comes to an end only when He says so - vaxxed blood or not. I have faced death more than once but it was not my time yet.

My point was not whether you were offered the opportunity to use your own unvaxxed blood. My point was that those who avoided the vax did so for the same reasons one avoids grizzly bears ....out of a healthy fear of what we know is dangerous.

Yes, our lives are in God's hands but that doesn't mean we don't have free will to make choices that, quite often, are based on our own risk/reward analysis, which quite often, like it or not, is about fearing something we know to be dangerous. Fear is an innate survival response, and not something to be considered as a bad thing, or an undesirable state. Fear is part of our survival instincts.

SOMETIMES fear is a healthy thing. As far as being a “survival response “, I politely disagree. If you avert something dangerous due to fear, even that is something allowed under the sovereign hand of God because your time is not yet. But there are many examples of people who overcame fear through their faith in God. I didn’t get the quackzine because of fear; I was not at peace with getting it and I try not to do anything that I am not at peace about. If I don’t have peace about something, I try to seek God’s wisdom as to why - is it sinful, unsafe or unwise, etc. I also don’t want to make fear based decisions; whether it’s fear mongering about Covid from the left or fear mongering about the jab. One time I may be at complete peace about flying; another day I might not. I have never been at peace about the quackzine and believe that the Lord protected me from getting it. He directed my attention to substacks dedicated to it; I certainly wouldn’t have even known that substack existed if He hadn’t directed me to it; no one I knew ever told me about it.

Yes! They should wear badges with red dots for each shot and a purple dot for each booster! Then we can know those we don't care to stand beside.

Have you already forgotten that governments were talking of labeling the unvaxxed? If I'm flying I want to know that the pilots - who hold my life and the lives of my children in their hands - are healthy and not at risk of dying while we are on their plane

I politely disagree. Your life and the lives of your children aren’t in the pilot’s hands- they are in God’s hands - whether you realize it or not.
