NYC hospitals at the time were accepting anyone with a license to work in the hospitals and I don't think most were qualified or quite frankly, smart enough to care for ventilator patients. The few who were (Erin Olszewski RN) did try to speak out but their voices of course, were not welcome by the mainstream media. Add to that the zero liability created by the prep act and eua approvals and you get the tragic mess we had at the so called epicenter. I believe you are correct that trump was deceived, that he earnestly believed the doctors who were lying to him, Deborah birx admitted how she lied in her book! I can understand your anger. More people need to be angry, there is nothing wrong with righteous anger.
Not sure my memory is accurate but I believe it was Matt Pottinger and his wife who convinced Ivanka's delicate husband Jared to insert ventilators into the covid protocol. That said, as soon as any doctor(s) witnessed the damage done, they should have immediately eliminated ventilators from the "treatment" plan. The entire covid medical response was a pointless exercise in avoiding anything medically useful.

Mechanical ventilation has always been a last ditch effort following O2 administration by mask, then venti masks, then non rebreathers. Vents are life threatening interventions that should never have been taken to "just give the lungs a rest."

While in the Rehab Hospital in Odessa, Tx recovering from a bad accident, I met Dr. Richard Bartlett of the Budesonide Cure. He told me he treated over 1,000 patients with Covid and many included the Obese, Diabetics, and those with COPD and Stage 4 Cancer. None went to the hospital. None died from Covid. All were cured with an anti-inflammatory administered with a nebulizer to the lungs. He tried to get the word out and even contacted Senator Cruz. Cruz ignored him. The WHO discredited his results and he was threatened with license removal. The problem was known early in the game. It was inflammation in the lungs that inhibited gas transfer. Simple solution. Get the inflammation down so the body has times to make the antibodies to rid itself of the infection. It worked. I did the same on myself, but with natural anti-inflammatories.
